Beautiful pair of pendant chandeliers commissioned by Dallas icon, R.L. Thornton for the penthouse of the Dallas Mercantile building in 1954. The building included works from many important designers of the time such as Millard Sheets, Octavio Medellin, Harry Bertoia and Wagner-Woodruff.
These lamps were custom made in the Wagner woodruff studios in Los Angeles California. They are very intriguing and are reminiscent of the work of designers Angelo Lelli and Gino Sarfatti yet they have a look that is unique unto themselves.
1954. Good condition.
The price is per fixture.
