This amazing sculpture was created by Texas Modernist Patsy Eldridge in the early 1970s. It is one of many brutalist totem sculptures that she created over the decades. This example was one of her favorites and has always been prominently displayed in the landscape of her personal residence. She was a professor of ceramics and sculpture at a number of different schools in the DFW area and has pieces in many public and private collections.
Very good condition, a small portion on the edge of the base where it touches the ground has some surface loss due to the natural rusting process but this does not affect the structural integrity of the piece
