Mid-century modern rattan Danny Ho Fong Wave Chair.
Danny Ho Fong designed this mid-century modern wave chair for Tropi-cal in the late 1960’s. It consists of a steel frame and hand-woven rattan. Its organic nature makes it perfect for a space that needs a little texture and a lot of sculptural quality.
It bears a remarkable resemblance to its predecessor the “Tulip Chair” designed by Erwine and Estelle Laverne for Laverne International.
Circa 1969.
Minor loss to rattan as to be expected. Overall very good condition.
