Francisco Rodriguez san Clemente (Spanish, 1861- 1956) oil painting, signed bottom right, framed. Trained at Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid, Francisco Rodriguez san Clemente found himself happiest traveling around Europe in gypsy caravans, documenting the various cultures he encountered along the way. While in these caravans, Francisco became enamored with flamenco and would focus his energy almost exclusively into documenting the figures and forms of its dancers with vibrant colors and fluid brushstrokes for the majority of his career. Framed it measures 38″ W x 32.5″ H, painting measures 32″ W x 25.25″ H.
