Description
This chair was one of two prototypes created by Knoll under the supervision of Joe D’urso, circa 2007. During the creation of the now world-famous D’Urso swivel chair. The other chair was reportedly destroyed making this a one-of-a-kind prototype. This design was never produced as Knoll deemed it too expensive to mass produce.
The chair was hand-built and upholstered in Red Knoll leather and wool with down-filled cushions. The polished aluminum base is very sturdy and it swivels as intended. The chair is in very good condition.
