Description
This Boucher cocktail table was designed by Philip and Kelvin Laverne in the 1960s. According to the catalog it is comprised of three separate bronzes inlaid by hand to create one solid bronze background of magnificent light and dark golden brown bronzes. The design is the highlight of the French romantic period, by the painter, Boucher. The ribbon and bamboo legs are an extraordinary example of Louis XI open bronze sculpture.
