Description
Unusual Philip and Kelvin LaVerne ‘Madame Pompadour’ occasional side table inspired by the original table of Marquise De Pompadour made in Cloisonne on bronze. This Acid-etched bronze rendition has an applied patina and hand-painted embellishments which include a central vase filled with naturalistic flowers flanked by an allegorical trophy representing music and art. It is a stunning garden and flower scene completed with ormolu legs in bronze of the first period. Etched signature on top.
